Job summary

Hugg & Hall Equipment Company is seeking a Shop Service Tech in Oklahoma to diagnose and repair aerial, material handling, and construction equipment, including air compressors, at our local branch.

You will troubleshoot, communicate downtime and progress with Sales, Coordinators, Managers and customers, and operate safely with minimal supervision to minimize downtime and keep equipment in safe working order.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of mechanical training/education and/or experience in a related field.
• Ability to read or be trained in reading schematics.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Hugg & Hall Equipment Company is looking for someone with mechanical knowledge and communication skills to join our team as a Service Tech in the shop. ABOUT THE POSITION

Shop Service Techs function as part of the Service team and are responsible for diagnosing and repairing various types of aerial, material handling, and construction equipment along with air compressors.

In this role, you will:

• Troubleshoot and Repair a variety of equipment with a focus on aerial equipment and air compressors at the local branch to bring each unit back to operational and safety standards.
• Effectively communicate with all involved parties including Salespeople, Coordinators, Managers, and Customers about possible downtime and job progress updates.
• Operate in a safe, efficient manner with minimal supervision to decrease equipment downtime, while also maintaining safe working standards.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 1 year of mechanical training/education and/or experience in a related field
• Possessing or ability to obtain complete line of tools
• Above average communication skills
• Ability to obtain equipment operator certifications
• Ability to read or be trained in reading schematics
• High School Diploma or equivalent
