Hugg & Hall Equipment Company is seeking a Service Tech to diagnose and repair aerial, material handling, and construction equipment in our shop. You will work with air compressors and related machinery, ensuring units are safe and operational at our local branch.

The role emphasizes hands-on mechanical skills, clear communication with Sales, Coordinators, Managers, and customers, and a proactive approach to minimizing downtime while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of mechanical training/education and/or experience in a related field.
• Possessing or ability to obtain complete line of tools.
• Above average communication skills.
• Ability to obtain equipment operator certifications.
• Ability to read or be trained in reading schematics.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Hugg & Hall Equipment Company is looking for someone with mechanical knowledge and communication skills to join our team as a Service Tech in the shop. We are a full-service equipment company specializing in industrial and construction equipment since 1956.

About The Position

Shop Service Techs function as part of the Service team and are responsible for diagnosing and repairing various types of aerial, material handling, and construction equipment along with air compressors.

In This Role, You Will

• Troubleshoot and Repair a variety of equipment with a focus on aerial equipment and air compressors at the local branch to bring each unit back to operational and safety standards.
• Effectively communicate with all involved parties including Salespeople, Coordinators, Managers, and Customers about possible downtime and job progress updates.
• Operate in a safe, efficient manner with minimal supervision, to decrease equipment downtime, while also maintaining safe working standards.
