Job summary

H&K Equipment is seeking a Shop Rebuild Mechanic with heavy equipment experience to join our Pittsburgh area team in Coraopolis, PA. You will remanufacture and rebuild material handling equipment and forklifts, teardown and rebuild components, and work with limited supervision using your own tools.

Candidates should have hydraulic and diesel experience, strong electrical aptitude, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• Hydraulic and diesel experience is necessary.
• Strong electrical aptitude and the ability to read schematics.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test, physical exam, and background check.
• Prior mechanical and technical experience on large mobile equipment is preferred.

We are seeking a Shop Rebuild Mechanic with heavy equipment experience to join our Pittsburgh area team for immediate hire to complete remanufacture various types of material handling equipment and forklifts at ourshop in Coraopolis, PA. This position will require a candidate who can work with limited supervision and has the ability to think and operate independently. Must have your own tools.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Completely teardown heavy lift equipment.
• Replace or remanufacture various components.
• Build various heavy lift equipment from frame up.
• Build and replace hydraulic hoses and components.
• Replace electrical harnesses and components.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Hydraulic and diesel experience necessary.
• Strong electrical aptitude necessary.
• Electrical / hydraulic schematic reading is necessary.
• Test equipment after assembly to guarantee proper performance and compliance with the manufacturer's specifications.
• Prior mechanical and technical experience on large mobile equipment preferred.
• Attention to detail, planning skills, and organization necessary.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, physical exam, and background check.
