Job summary

H&K Equipment in Pittsburgh area is seeking a Shop Rebuild Mechanic with heavy equipment experience to perform remanufacturing and rebuilds of material handling equipment. You will teardown, replace components, and assemble units with attention to electrical and hydraulic systems.

Ideal candidates have hydraulic/diesel experience, the ability to read schematics, and a track record of working with large mobile equipment. Owning your own tools is required and background checks will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Hydraulic and diesel experience required.
• Strong electrical aptitude.
• Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Test equipment after assembly to ensure proper performance.
• Prior mechanical experience on large mobile equipment preferred.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test, physical and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Completely teardown heavy lift equipment.
• Replace or remanufacture various components.
• Build various heavy lift equipment from frame up.
• Build and replace hydraulic hoses and components.
• Replace electrical harnesses and components.
