Zusammenfassung

Cavender Auto Family in Lubbock is seeking a Full-Time Automobile Shop Porter to join our Cadillac of Lubbock team and help “Make Confidence Happen.”

This position offers 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, at $15 per hour. You will perform shop housekeeping, assist technicians, and help maintain a clean, safe environment in our dealership and service areas.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• Successfully complete MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug test.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 100 lbs.

Aufgaben

• Sweeps technician stalls, service department and body shop floors, showroom, halls and vending areas.
• Cleans all signs, posters, service signs, mirrors, fans and vending machines.
• Cleans driveway and sidewalks, removing any debris as necessary.
• Empties and cleans all trash receptacles, inside and outside.
• Cleans oil storage tanks according to procedures.
• Drains and disposes of used oil filters properly.
• Removes any old scrap parts from shop after checking with parts manager.
• Assists technicians with oil and water spills and with emptying drain tubs.
• Understands and complies with OSHA Right-to-Know and other federal, state, and local regulations.
• Uses proper eye, hand and body protection when using products that require protection.
• Other tasks as assigned.
