Job summary

Cadillac of Lubbock, Texas, a Cavender Auto Family dealership, is seeking a talented Full-Time Shop Porter to join our team. If you're passionate about helping others and delivering excellent service, you'll feel at home here.

The role involves keeping shop and showroom clean, supporting technicians, and maintaining a safe, organized environment. The schedule is Monday–Friday with some Saturdays; $15.00 per hour, plus benefits including insurance and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must pass MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug test.
• Valid driver\'s license required.

Responsibilities

• Sweep technician stalls, service department and body shop floors, showroom, halls and vending areas.
• Clean all signs, posters, service signs, mirrors, fans and vending machines.
• Clean driveway and sidewalks, removing debris as necessary.
• Empty and clean all trash receptacles, inside and outside.
• Clean oil storage tanks according to procedures.
• Drain and dispose of used oil filters properly.
• Remove old scrap parts from shop after checking with parts manager.
• Assist technicians with oil and water spills and with emptying drain tubs.
• Understand and comply with OSHA Right-to-Know and other regulations.
• Use appropriate eye, hand and body protection when using products.
• Perform other assigned tasks.
