Job summary

Cavender Auto Family is seeking a Service Porter to join our growing team. You will greet customers, move vehicles, and assist the service staff to ensure a smooth operation on the service drive.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Successful completion of MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug test.
• Valid driver's license.
• Enthusiastic and motivated individual with strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers entering the service drive and assist with directions.
• Assist service team and keep the service drive organized and clean.
• Move vehicles from service drive to parking area and manage keys.
• Support the service team with miscellaneous duties as needed.
• Washes and dries vehicles, cleans windows, and vacuums interiors.
• Inspect finished vehicles before handoff.
• Ensure drive area is safe and orderly.

Here Is What You Will Be Doing

• From staging vehicles to greeting customers, this role is essential to the function of the dealership
• Greeting customers as they enter our service drive
• Direct customers where to go and interact with them in a friendly, caring manner
• Prepare and move vehicles from service drive to parking area
• Clean, organize service drive and assist service team as needed
• Keep the drive clear by parking cars, recording inventory, and storing keys
• Supporting the service team, as needed, through miscellaneous duties
• Washes and dries vehicles
• Cleans windows and interior, vacuums carpets
• Inspects the finished product
• Empties trash cans and sweeps floors
• Cleans repair shop and paint shops

• High School Diploma/GED is required
