TP Mechanical, LLC. in Columbus, OH seeks an experienced Pipefitter for shop fabrication of piping systems.

You will interpret blueprints and isometrics, measure, layout, and assemble components to spec; work with welders and fabricators to position pipes for welding; perform quality checks and maintain safety standards. Candidates should have 2+ years of pipefitting experience, ability to read drawings, knowledge of carbon steel and stainless steel, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of pipefitting experience in fabrication or construction (preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and specifications.
• Knowledge of various piping materials (carbon steel, stainless steel).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a shop environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to pass MIG positioner rollout certification on 2" sch80 weld test.

Responsabilités

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications for piping systems.
• Measure and verify pipe cut lengths per blueprints.
• Perform layout and fit-up of piping assemblies in the shop.
• Work with welders to position and secure pipes for welding.
• Conduct quality checks on fabricated piping assemblies to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, cutting torches, and pipe fabrication machinery.
• Assist with material handling, loading/unloading, and organizing shop inventory.
• Maintain safe and clean working conditions in accordance with company policies.
• Follow OSHA and company safety guidelines.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
