Job summary

RK Mechanical is seeking a Shop Supervisor to oversee the CAD/FAB process and ensure on-time, high-quality product delivery. The role involves guiding shop staff, coordinating with project managers, and maintaining safe, efficient operations.

You will lead weekly safety meetings, toolbox talks, and cross-functional collaboration to improve processes and labor cost management across the shop and yard.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in manufacturing, engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years in manufacturing leadership or shop supervision.
• Experience with CAD/FAB processes and safety programs.
• Strong ability to supervise and develop staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Shop Employees to ensure CAD/FAB outputs meet customer requirements.
• Maintain controlled conditions for CAD/FAB activities.
• Drive continuous improvement of CAD/FAB outputs and labor cost accuracy.
• Oversee drawing and schedule reviews.
• Coordinate delivery dates with trucking.
• Conduct weekly safety meetings and daily toolbox talks.
• Interface with CAD department and detailing subcontractors.
• Ensure safe, clean, organized shop and yard.
