Job summary

AMS Industries Inc. in Mount Pleasant, WI is seeking a hands-on Shop Manager to lead daily shop operations, overseeing receiving, warehousing, maintenance, and distribution of tools, equipment, and materials on site.

You will partner with project managers and field teams to maintain a safe, organized, and well‑maintained facility, manage records, and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely jobsite deliveries and readiness of gear.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with construction tools and equipment.
• Strong knowledge of tool operations, maintenance, and safety practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain records.
• Previous warehouse or shop management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
• Maintain organization, cleanliness, and safety standards throughout the shop.
• Track and maintain records of inbound/outbound shipments.
• Stage tools, materials, and equipment for daily jobsite deliveries.
• Coordinate with freight carriers to package and ship outbound loads.
• Manage preventive maintenance and repair programs for tools and equipment.
• Coordinate with administrative staff to track costs, repairs, and inventory records.
