Job summary

Glass Doctor of North Texas is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager who keeps the shop running smoothly, ensures inventory accuracy, loads and unloads glass and materials, and supports glaziers so they have exactly what they need for each job.

This hands-on role rewards organization, teamwork, and initiative, with training on our systems and IGU fabrication processes, plus a path to Shop Manager or other operations roles, and benefits including disability, medical, dental, and vision coverage and

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse, shop, or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift, load, and move glass safely.
• Detail-focused to avoid miscounts and mislabeling.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload glass, materials, and equipment for daily installs and deliveries.
• Check in incoming glass shipments and verify against POs.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts across glass, hardware, and supplies.
• Coordinate deliveries and assist in IGU fabrication and quality checks.
• Keep the shop organized, safe, and audit-ready.
• Support Shop Manager with day-to-day operations.
