Job summary

Glass Doctor of North Texas is seeking a dependable Shop Driver to transport glass, materials, tools, and equipment between locations in the DFW area. The role includes loading, unloading, pickups, and coordinating with shop teams to ensure timely deliveries.

You will maintain documentation, perform basic vehicle inspections, and support the team with loading/unloading as needed. A valid driver’s license and safe driving history are required, with a strong team mindset and reliability valued.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to safely operate company vehicles.
• Willingness to work overtime and Saturdays as needed.
• Delivery/logistics experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver glass, materials, tools, equipment, and supplies between Glass Doctor locations.
• Pick up orders, materials, and parts from vendors across the DFW area.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload materials safely to prevent damage.
• Verify materials and orders for accuracy during pickups and deliveries.
• Plan and organize routes to complete deliveries and pickups efficiently.
• Maintain receipts, delivery paperwork, and other required documentation.
• Keep company vehicles clean, organized, and in good operating condition.
• Complete basic vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
