Job summary

Delaney-Automotive-Group is seeking a dependable Shop Hand to support daily shop operations in DuBois, PA. You will keep work areas clean, organize tools and materials, and help movers and assemblers as needed. This role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift and stand for long periods, and a basic understanding of shop tools.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Basic understanding of shop tools and equipment (preferred but not required).
• Reliable and able to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain shop floors, work areas, and equipment.
• Organize tools, parts, and supplies to ensure easy access and efficiency.
• Sort, remove, and dispose of garbage, recycling, and scrap materials properly.
• Operate a forklift to move materials, equipment, and scrap safely (certification preferred).
• Assist with loading and unloading materials.
• Assist with inventory organization and basic stock management.
• Support skilled workers with general labor tasks as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
