Job summary

Turner Industries is hiring an Equipment Mechanic to join our Pasadena, TX team, focusing on electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical repairs on diesel/heavy equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and ensure parts and tools are available for repairs.

Candidates should have 5+ years of diesel/heavy equipment repair experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a TWIC Card with a valid driver’s license. Relocation is not offered; in Houston metro area resides preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with diesel/heavy equipment repair.
• High school diploma or GED required; engineering degree or mechanic training a plus.
• TWIC Card and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance.

Turner Industries Group is looking for an experienced shop mechanic to join our team in Pasadena, TX. The successful candidate will have experience working on small engine pieces of equipment such as golf carts and tractors. This position offers

• Overtime and call-outs as needed - overtime paid at time-and-a-half

Equipment Mechanic Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical repairs as well as preventative maintenance
• Troubleshoot issues with diesel engines
• Determine what parts and tools are necessary to make repairs

• Maintain a clean and safe work area

Heavy Equipment Mechanic Requirements And Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Post-secondary certificate or degree in engineering OR training as a mechanic is a plus
• 5+ years of experience with diesel/heavy equipment repair
• TWIC Card
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record

Per diem and relocation is not available for this position; the successful candidate will be a current resident in the Houston metro area.
