Job summary

Express Employment Professionals in Charleston, WV is seeking two experienced machinist/mechanics for a Teays Valley area shop on the day shift.

As a manual machinist you will mill and machine parts with a lathe, drill press, and other manual milling tools, with a strong emphasis on reading blueprints and fabrication.

Required are a high school diploma, 2 years milling/fabricating experience, math and blueprint-reading skills, and a high level of attention to detail.

Machinist/Mechanic

A Teays Valley company is looking to hire 2 experienced shop mechanics with machining experience for their day shift.

Responsibilities

As a manual machinist you will be milling and machining parts with a lathe, drill press, and other manual milling tools. Someone with mechanical knowledge/skills is preferred, in addition to the ability to read blueprints and fabricate.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or the equivalent.
• Must have 2 years of milling and fabricating experience.
• Must be competent with math and blueprint reading.
• Must have a high level of attention to detail.

Evaluation Hire

Hours are Monday through Friday - 5:30am to 2:30pm with potential for overtime. Pay rate is $18-$22/hour. (based on skills and experience)
