Job summary

Goforth Williamson is part of Flow Control Group, a leading provider of flow-control solutions. A Shop Mechanic role is open to support the repair of industrial/municipal pumps and collaborate with engineers to ensure quality outcomes.

You will use micrometers and other measuring tools, participate in daily maintenance, and contribute to inspection reports. This is a full-time on-site position based in Griffin, GA, with a team-focused, non-smoking workplace.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing industrial pumps.
• Ability to read micrometers and measuring equipment.
• Self-motivated with a team focus.

Responsibilities

• Disassembly/assembly of industrial pumps with inspection reports.
• Measure parts for inspection reports.
• Clean parts and inform Engineering of replacements.
• Daily cleanup as assigned by manager.
• Work with Engineers on pump repairs.

Job Description

GWI is looking for an experienced Shop Mechanic.

You will be working closely with Engineers in the repair of industrial/municipal pumps.

The ability to read micrometers and other measuring equipment will be an added benefit to this position.

Daily duties may include but not limited to the following:

• Disassembly/Assembly industrial pumps while completing inspection reports for the Engineering department.
• Measure all required parts for inspection reports
• Clean all parts and inform Engineering department of items that need to be replaced.
• Daily cleanup activities assigned by manager.
• GWI is a growing company and looking for a self-motivated individual that will add to the success of our team.
