Job summary

DeAngelo Contracting Services seeks a Shop Manager to direct the Oklahoma City shop, supervise mechanics, and ensure safe, efficient operations. The role includes maintenance planning, cost estimating support, and inventory control.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of mechanic experience, strong leadership, and a valid license. CDL is preferred; candidates should be detail-oriented with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with at least 3 years of clean driving.
• 5+ years of prior mechanic experience.
• CDL is highly preferred.
• Excellent managerial and leadership skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prepare operating reports and reconcile sales records.
• Extensive knowledge of automobile repair and ability to read/interpret technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Oversees shop operations and may perform customer service functions or scheduled maintenance.
• Supervises and assists with administrative services related to automobile repairs; prepares cost estimates and notifies customers of preventive and scheduled maintenance.
• Reconciles operating accounts and records including sales and cash receipts.
• Drafts and maintains operating reports as requested by the division manager.
• Monitors inventory and orders supplies and tools for the shop.
• Schedules and arranges necessary maintenance for the shop.
• Ensures that the shop is neat, clean, and safe.
• Oversee Licenses/Permits with Asset Manager.
• Design and Update Equipment and Spray Systems to Specifications.
• Perform all fleet repairs including mechanical, hydraulic, welding, fabrication and minor body repairs.
