Here, you’ll find a leadership role that offers true career growth, pride in craftsmanship, and an environment where your experience and management skills are genuinely respected and valued.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Oversee mechanics in maintaining and repairing all fleet equipment.

  • Promote good morale and teamwork within the maintenance facility.
  • Schedule and prioritize vehicle repairs to meet operational requirements.
  • Work closely with parts personnel to manage current parts supplies and vendor costs.
  • Provide input on procedural and operational changes to reduce costs and improve labor productivity.
  • Ensure shop tools are in safe working order.
  • Review repair orders within the TMT system for accuracy.
  • Perform regular audits of work completed by mechanics.
  • Evaluate vehicle repairs for in-house work or outsourcing.
  • Oversee day-to-day shop operations and analyze problems with mechanics.
  • Ensure the appearance of company equipment is properly maintained.
  • Answer breakdown phone calls and emails promptly.
  • Conduct yard checks to ensure asset availability for operations.
  • Track PMs using our maintenance program and provide reminders to dispatch and drivers.
  • Schedule shop services and keep up-to-date on all asset’s preventative maintenance requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have basic tools to maintain Class 8 equipment.
  • General knowledge of ground transportation equipment and/or maintenance.
  • Effective verbal, written, and organizational skills.
  • Basic knowledge of PCs and Microsoft applications; familiarity with Transman and McLeod is preferred.
  • Ability to motivate others and focus on accomplishing tasks.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Understanding of standard practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Tanker industry experience.
  • Prior hands-on experience with heavy equipment maintenance.
  • CDL is a plus.

  • Health Benefits: Comprehensive coverage including vision, dental, and prescription through Blue Cross Blue Shield.
  • Life Insurance: Opt into additional life and disability coverage.
  • Work-Life Balance: Enjoy paid vacations, personal time off, and holidays.
  • Training & Tools: Benefit from paid training, company uniforms, and state-of-the-art equipment.
  • HSA Contributions: Receive up to $2,400 from the company to your Health Savings Account.
