Job summary

PAM Transport is seeking a Shop Lead for our Charlotte, NC Irving Shop. The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00am to 3:30pm with a pay range of $35-$40 per hour depending on experience.

You will lead technicians, uphold safety and DOT/OSHA standards, and drive improvements in uptime and efficiency while maintaining a clean, safe shop environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of maintenance and repair experience.
• Knowledge of DOT standards of repairs and maintenance.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations regarding terminal facility.

Responsibilities

• Deliver effective communication with driver team members and address concerns.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Implement and maintain maintenance processes per company policy.
• Improve vehicle uptime through efficient repair practices.
• Manage assigned shift maintenance operations in line with financial goals.
• Develop maintenance personnel on the assigned shift.
• Monitor parts and tire inventory usage by the shift.
• Reduce workforce turnover by improving employee relations.
