Job summary

Patriot Custom Metals, a division of American Fence Company, is seeking Shop Laborers to join our Carter Lake, IA team. You will help prepare fabrication materials for aluminum and steel products, from railing to metal artwork, at a large facility serving national clients.

Qualified candidates have prior manufacturing or general labor experience, can read a tape measure, and operate hand tools, grinders, drills, and related equipment safely.

Qualifications

• Prior manufacturing, construction, general labor or building experience.
• Experience in automotive or industrial painting or powder coating helpful.
• Must be able to read a tape measure.
• Able to lift 50–85 lbs regularly.
• Forklift experience and blueprint reading a plus but not required.

Patriot Custom Metals,a division of American Fence Company, is one of the largest custom metals fabricatorsin the U.S. and is looking for hardworking, dependableShop Laborers to join our Carter Lake, IA team of industry professionals. As a member of our team,you will assistin the preparationoffabrication materials used to manufacture a wide variety of custom aluminum and steel products, from structural bridge railings to metal artwork. Our commercial products can be found at notable building sites across the nation at major universities, tech industry giants, and national parks and monuments.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Prior manufacturing, construction, general labor or building experience.
• Previous experience in automotive or industrial painting or powder coating helpful.
• Must be able to read a tape measure.
• Proficient in the safe use of hand tools, grinder, drill, drill press, auto saw, and ironworker.
• Able to sand, walk, and lift up to 50-85lbs on a regular basis.
• Forklift experience and ability to readblueprints a plus but not required.

• $20-25 per hour
