This full-time, on-site role offers pay of $17.00–$18.00 per hour and an advancement path into a Fitter role based on performance. Candidates must be able to lift 50 lbs, operate a forklift safely, and work with the team.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily shop operations and production support.
• Safely operate a forklift to move materials, parts, and equipment.
• Load, unload, move, and organize shop materials as assigned.
• Lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Assist team members with general shop and production tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Complete required safety training and training modules on time.
• Wear all required PPE and follow safety procedures.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, leads, and coworkers.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Schedule may vary based on workload.
Pay: $17.00–$18.00/hour

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily shop operations and production support
• Safely operate a forklift to move materials, parts, and equipment
• Load, unload, move, and organize shop materials as assigned
• Lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs
• Assist team members with general shop and production tasks
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Complete required safety training and assigned training modules on time
• Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Follow company health, safety, and operating procedures
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, leads, and coworkers
• Complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision
• Run occasional work-related errands as required
• Complete required company documentation and forms in a timely manner
• Learn additional shop and fitting skills to support potential advancement

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience safely operating a forklift
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to perform physical work throughout the shift with appropriate range of motion
• Strong communication skills
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Self-motivated and able to complete assigned tasks
• Willingness to learn and complete required training
• Ability to follow safety procedures and workplace policies
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, fabrication, or industrial shop environment
• Basic exposure to fitting, maintenance, mechanical, or production work
• Interest in developing skills and advancing into a Fitter position

Pre-Employment & Compliance Requirements

Candidates must be able to successfully complete:

• Drug and alcohol screening
• Background screening
• Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check
• Ongoing MVR monitoring as required
• Additional site or client-required screenings

Candidates must also maintain compliance with applicable safety policies, training requirements, and company procedures throughout employment.
