Job summary

Openwork is seeking a Forklift Warehouse Worker for an AM shift in Houston, TX. The role requires operating turret trucks and forklifts, loading and stocking materials, and preparing orders for shipment using RF scanners and warehouse software.

Qualities include safety awareness, accuracy, and teamwork. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity with weekly pay and consistent first-shift hours, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• 2+ years forklift operating experience required.
• Turret truck operating experience required.
• 2+ years warehouse, shipping/receiving, or material handling experience preferred.
• Strong warehouse computer system and RF scanner experience required.
• Experience using WMS, inventory software, or shipping systems.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate turret trucks, sit-down forklifts, and/or stand-up forklifts.
• Load, unload, move, stock, and organize warehouse materials.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Receive and inspect incoming materials.
• Retrieve and store inventory using warehouse equipment.
• Use RF scanners and warehouse computer systems to process inventory and shipments.
• Maintain accurate inventory and transaction records.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist with general warehouse operations as needed.

Pay: $19.00–$20.00 per hour (Based on Experience) | Weekly Pay

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Overtime: Available based on business needs
