Job summary

Staffmark Group in Baytown, TX is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely operate Sit-Down, Reach, and Clamp forklifts. The role involves loading, unloading, moving, and staging materials, picking and packing orders, and using RF scanners to track inventory, with a focus on accuracy and safety.

Job Duties

• Safely operate Sit-Down, Reach Truck, and Clamp Forklifts
• Load, unload, move, and stage materials throughout the warehouse
• Pick, pack, wrap, and prepare customer orders for shipment
• Use RF scanners to track inventory and product movement
• Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment
• Verify load stability and ensure product accuracy
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns
• Complete required documentation and inventory records
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Follow all company safety policies and operating procedures

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and climb on and off powered industrial equipment throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, move, or reposition materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts in busy warehouse and manufacturing environments.
• Ability to maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, equipment, and inventory while operating powered industrial vehicles.
