Job summary

International Drilling Equipment in Rural Hall, NC is seeking a Shop Helper to join our team. You will assist with daily shop operations, keep the shop floor clean and organized, and support other team members with various tasks.

The ideal candidate is personable, a problem solver, self-motivated, able to lift 50 lbs, read and write in English, and follow safety protocols wearing PPE. Open to high school students; no experience required.

Qualifications

• Assisting with the assembly and disassembly of equipment.
• Operating basic tools and machinery under supervision.
• Cleaning and maintaining the shop floor, equipment, and tools.
• Moving and organizing materials and supplies as needed.
• Following safety protocols and wearing PPE at all times.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be able to read and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the assembly and disassembly of equipment and machinery.
• Operating basic tools and machinery under the supervision of a senior team member.
• Cleaning and maintaining the shop floor, equipment, and tools.
• Moving and organizing materials, products, and supplies as needed.
• Following safety protocols and wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Pressure wash Equipment
• Stores items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.
• Examines and inspects stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
• Be able to lift more than 50lbs.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
