Job summary

Machining Express, LLC is seeking a Machine Shop Helper for a first shift in Longmont, CO. The role involves supporting multiple departments, including Shipping and Receiving, CNC Production, Shop Maintenance, and Quality Control, in a fast-paced environment.

The position is temporary with potential for full-time employment for the right candidate. Applicants should be physically able to stand for 8 hours, lift up to 50 lbs, and be willing to learn new tasks daily.

• Possess basic and some advanced skills and knowledge of receiving and shipping and production.
• Understand process flow.
• Understand math and how decimals work.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Flexible in shifting tasks.
• Have a sense of urgency in a fast paced machine shop.
• Willing to learn.
• Knowledge of hand tools.
• Follow direction, as well as company policies and safety requirements.
• Prior experience and familiarity with machine shop and tools a plus.
• English required, Spanish a plus.

We are looking for a Machine Shop Helper who is eager to learn, willing to be flexible in different areas of the shop and likes a fast-paced work environment. Must be fit and able to stand for up to 8 hours and lift occasionally up to 50 lbs. Departments you will be supporting include Shipping and Receiving, CNC Production, Shop Maintenance, Quality Control, and other areas.

Opportunity for advancement depending on business needs.

This is a 1st shift position - Hours are Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm

This is a temporary position, with opportunity for regular full-time employment for the right person.
