Job summary

Construction Machinery Industrial, LLC is seeking a Shop Helper to support day-to-day shop operations and maintain a clean, organized workspace. You will assist in inventory, equipment handling, and customer service on the shop floor.

The role requires physical capability, basic knowledge of shop tools, and reliable teamwork. A valid driver’s license is required, with a schedule featuring 8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday, with weekend rotation and on-call duties.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily shop operations.
• Clean and organize work areas, tool room, and equipment.
• Unload/load supplies and materials as needed.
• Assist in assembly/disassembly of equipment and machinery.
• Perform basic maintenance on equipment and machinery.
• Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment.
• Support other staff as needed.
• Comply with safety regulations and procedures.
• Fill in for parts runner as needed.
• Assist in other departments as required.

Summary:

The role of a Shop Helper involves assisting in day-to-day operations, maintaining cleanliness, and tidiness of the shop floor, along with organizing inventory and providing exceptional customer service. Tasks include restocking merchandise, operating relevant equipment, and ensuring a safe and well-presented retail environment. Essential Functions:

• Assist in the daily operations of the shop
• Clean and organize work areas, tool room, and equipment

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
