We are looking for an energetic, reliable Shop Helper to join our team in Institute, WV. We are a dynamic, stable and growing company with career opportunities across our headquarters, trucking terminals, mechanic shops, depots, tank washes and other locations.
Assists mechanics in performing preparatory maintenance, special inspections and general repairs on tractor and trailer units in accordance with DOT, federal and state regulations and company standards. Helps perform moderate to complex repairs on engines, drive trains, brakes, suspension systems, hydraulic systems, fuel systems, cooling systems, alternators, electrical systems, instrumentations, trailer bulk product transfer handling and storage systems and other necessary power equipment. Properly annotates all maintenance and labor performed in maintenance management software. Additional responsibilities include general housekeeping duties in all terminal and shop facilities, as directed by the Shop Manager.
