Allstate Peterbilt Group in the Midwest seeks a Shop Helper to assist technicians by moving trucks, conducting test drives after repairs, and helping with steam cleaning and parts delivery across our dealerships. Responsibilities

Shop Helper Job Responsibilities:

• Move trucks in and out of stalls for technicians.
• Test drive trucks that need extended miles put on to insure repair is complete.
• Provide steam cleaning/pressure washing assistance as needed.
• Clean shop floors, tool areas, shop tools and equipment, and other areas as needed.
• Deliver parts to the technicians from the parts department.
• Retrieve parts from outside vendors when necessary.
• Assist in shop tool repair.
• Assist technicians with repairs when no tools or technical expertise is required; such as holding a component in place or depressing a clutch pedal.
• Manage retained warranty parts as directed.
