Job summary

Zaniboni Lighting Co. in Idaho is seeking a shop hand and driver who is mechanically inclined, punctual and reliable to assist with shop operations such as washing parts, deburring, polishing, tapping and cutting, and to pick up tools and parts between locations.

First Shift from 6am to 3pm, Monday through Friday, with two 15-minute breaks and a 1-hour lunch. Wage starts at $20+ per hour and is negotiable based on skill and experience. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Must have a valid driver\'s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to work safely around shop equipment and maintain organization.

Responsibilities

• Check in with the Shop Foreman daily for job assignments.
• Assist with material and supply inventories.
• Daily supply and part pick ups (could be multiple trips per day).
• Help in deburring, washing, cutting when needed.
• Assist machine operators to run jobs on the CNC break press.
• Help keep the shop clean and organized.

Job description

We are hiring a shop hand and driver that is mechanically inclined, punctual, reliable to assist with shop operations such as washing parts, deburring, polishing, tapping, cutting and to pick up tools, parts and transfer parts between locations.

First Shift schedule 6am to 3pm Monday to Friday (two 15-minuet breaks and one hour for lunch).

Hourly: $20+ per hour (negotiable based on skillset and experience)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with material and supply inventories.

Requirements

• Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record
• Experience driving and operatingtrucks with lift gates
• Experienced working in a manufacturing environment is required
• Must have basic knowledge with general safety regulations
• Organized, punctual with good attention to detail

Physical Demands

Must have ability to select, lift, carry and stack products weighing between 30 & 50 pounds. The ability to stand up a total of 8-10 hours, with breaks, while occasionally bending, stooping, twisting and do repetitive work for 2 to 4 hours at a time.
