Cronin Chevrolet is seeking an experienced Shop Foreman / Production Manager to lead our high-volume service department. This role suits a Master Technician or current Shop Foreman ready to advance, with strong diagnostic skills and a passion for mentoring technicians.

You will oversee daily workflow, assist with dispatching, guide technicians on complex repairs, uphold manufacturer standards, and foster a culture of quality and accountability while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Master Technician, Lead Technician, or Shop Foreman.
• Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Leadership experience with ability to coach and develop a team.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Professional attitude with a results-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shop workflow and assist with dispatching to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Support technicians with advanced diagnostics and complex repair guidance.
• Assist with troubleshooting difficult mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns.
• Ensure repairs are completed accurately, efficiently, and according to manufacturer standards.
• Perform quality control checks on completed work.
• Lead by example and help establish a culture of quality, accountability, and teamwork.
• Mentor, coach, and develop technicians to improve skill levels and overall shop performance.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment.
