Long Beach BMW, a Sonic Automotive dealership, seeks an experienced Shop Foreman to lead the service team in Long Beach, CA. You’ll guide technicians, oversee diagnostics, and ensure work meets premium standards while staying current with BMW procedures and technology.

You’ll manage workflow, mentor staff, and drive performance with a focus on safety, quality, and timely vehicle completion in a luxury dealership environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of automotive diagnostic and repair experience.
• Strong electrical and advanced diagnostic skills.
• Previous supervisory or technical leadership experience.
• BMW, European luxury, or franchise dealership experience strongly preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to coach and support experienced technicians.
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• Working knowledge of dealership management and service systems.

Responsibilities

This is an opportunity for an accomplished automotive technician and leader to take the next step in their career with a BMW franchise operation. Compensation: $100,000 – $150,000 annually

Job Description

What You’ll Do

The Shop Foreman provides technical leadership and day-to-day support to the Long Beach BMW service team. You’ll help technicians resolve complex repairs, monitor shop performance and workflow, and ensure work is completed efficiently and to dealership and manufacturer standards.
