Job summary

R+L Carriers in Rock Hill, SC is seeking a Maintenance Shop Foreman to oversee heavy-duty tractor and forklift maintenance and repairs. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday, 3:00 am to 1:30 pm, with the potential to lead a shop team.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of related experience, tools of their own, and a proven ability to manage preventive maintenance, air brakes, diesel engines, and electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Performs the preventative and day-to-day maintenance and repair on heavy-duty tractors and forklifts.
• Perform day-to-day administrative duties.
• All repairs and major repairs on trucks and forklifts.
• Truck, forklift and dry van trailer experience would be a mandatory.
• Experience with air brakes, clutches, electrical repairs PM's, lift-gates, overhead door repair, etc.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of tractor/trailers (air brakes, clutches, diesel engines, lights and electrical repairs).
• Mechanic experience would be a plus
• Manager experience would be a plus
• Must have own tools
