Qualifications

The Shop Foreman serves as a working leader who assists with complex diagnostics and repairs while coordinating technician productivity and training.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDirect and coordinate the daily workflow of service technicians.Assign repair orders based on technician skill level, certification, and workload.Assist technicians with difficult diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair procedures.Monitor repair quality and conduct final inspections as needed.Ensure repairs are completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with manufacturer and dealership standards.Support achievement of departmental productivity, efficiency, and profitability goals.Work closely with service advisors to prioritize repairs and communicate repair status.Review repair orders for accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation.Ensure technicians comply with all dealership, manufacturer, OSHA, and safety requirements.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment.Assist in technician recruitment, onboarding, mentoring, and training.Monitor technician performance and provide coaching and development recommendations.Participate in manufacturer experience preferred.• Two or more years of automotive repair and diagnostic experience preferred.• Previous experience as a B-Level Technician or equivalent skill level preferred.• Strong knowledge of automotive mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic systems.• Ability to interpret repair manuals, technical service bulletins, schematics, and manufacturer service information.• Proficiency with diagnostic equipment, hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.• Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex automotive repair issues.• Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity and accuracy standards.• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.• Ability to mentor and provide guidance
