Job summary

GCS is seeking a Process / Manufacturing / Industrial Engineer to support daily manufacturing activities and keep production running smoothly. You will resolve process issues and contribute to continuous improvement on the shop floor.

Work with production, quality, and engineering teams to balance lines, track data, and implement standard work updates. Hands-on collaboration and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• Experience or strong interest in manufacturing environments.
• Willingness to work hands-on on the shop floor.
• Basic experience with data tracking and simple analysis.
• Familiarity with Excel (Minitab or similar a plus but not required).
• Good communication and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Improve workflow, efficiency, and line performance.
• Assist with line balancing and workload adjustments.
• Track basic production data and performance metrics.
• Analyze data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Support process changes and standard work updates.
• Assist with training operators and technicians.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams.
• Document process changes and improvements.
