Job summary

Guidant Measurements, a leading measurement solutions provider, is seeking a Manufacturing Excellence Engineer in Erie, PA. The role focuses on optimizing manufacturing flow, reducing costs, and driving continuous improvement across value streams.

You will spend significant time on the shop floor, collaborating with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Procurement to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality targets are met. Strong Lean/Six Sigma experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
• 3+ years in manufacturing, IE, CI, or process engineering.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, VSM or similar.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and project-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement across the manufacturing value stream.
• Hands-on presence on the shop floor to troubleshoot and coach.
• Analyze processes and performance data to identify efficiency gains.
• Drive throughput, labor utilization and material flow improvements.
• Lead Lean, Kaizen and Six Sigma initiatives site-wide.
