Job summary

Swiss American CDMO, LLC. is seeking a Lean Manufacturing Engineer to accelerate deployment across operations. This role requires practical, floor-level leadership to improve flow, reduce waste, and increase throughput.

You will collaborate with production, packaging, quality, maintenance, warehouse, and planning teams to observe processes, identify waste, implement countermeasures, and deliver measurable results. A strong background in Lean tools and a bias for action are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on Lean Manufacturing or IE experience.
• Experience coordinating with operators, supervisors, maintenance, quality, and planning.
• Strong practical knowledge of Lean tools and systems.
• Ability to lead shop-floor improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Create the Lean deployment Roadmap, with specific timelines to achieve results.
• Deploy Lean principles across production areas.
• Lead hands-on improvement activities in packaging, warehouse, and support ops.
• Identify and eliminate waste with cross-functional teams.
• Facilitate kaizen events and rapid improvement activities.
• Develop 5S and visual workplace standards and sustainment.
• Lead SMED/changeover reduction initiatives across processes.
• Develop standard work and daily management boards.
• Analyze performance data to drive throughput and quality improvements.
