Job summary

Swisslog Healthcare is seeking an Operational Excellence Engineer to drive process optimization, Lean/Six Sigma initiatives, and cross‑functional standardization across quality, engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain. You will establish robust SOPs, lead RCCA efforts, and support ISO 9001/45001/27001 readiness.

The role emphasizes data‑driven improvements, KPI dashboards, and collaboration with internal teams and suppliers to deliver measurable productivity gains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline with 3-5 years of directly applicable experience.
• Non‑degreed candidates considered if they have formal Lean/Six Sigma training with 2 years of experience counted for one year of degreed experience.
• Familiarity with Lean, 5S, Kaizen.
• Experience with data analysis/visualization tools: Python, Minitab, Power BI, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Lead business process optimization and Lean/Six Sigma improvement initiatives to drive delivery of efficient, low‑waste production solutions.
• Sustain the company’s product lines and manufacturing operations by assessing process failures, performing root cause analysis, and implementing standard operating improvements.
• Assist in establishing baseline quality, safety, and information security management systems to prepare for ISO certifications; track audit readiness milestones.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers on corrective actions, implementing scalable process solutions within budget.
• Develop KPI dashboards, Value Stream Maps (VSM), and process flow models to drive productivity gains.
• Prepare operational risk reports, project charters, and statements of work (SOW).
