Job summary

Dauch is seeking a Manufacturing Tech IT to ensure the stable, secure, and efficient operation of all plant IT systems in Detroit, MI. You will provide hands-on support for Plex, Ignition, and production monitoring, while collaborating with Manufacturing Engineering to keep production running smoothly.

You will administer servers and devices, manage networks, and lead IT projects, balancing manufacturing needs with DAUCH IT standards to maximize uptime and security.

Qualifications

• Completed training as an IT Specialist for System Integration or similar IT qualification.
• Hands-on IT administration experience.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
• Team-oriented approach and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain servers, client devices, printers, and storage systems.
• Monitor, support, and troubleshoot network infrastructure and components.
• Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
• Provide 1st and 2nd level IT support for office and production employees.
• Manage incidents and service requests via IT ticketing system.
• Lead or participate in IT implementation and optimization projects.
• Procure, install, configure, and deploy hardware and software.
• Support manufacturing IT systems and production-related IT.
• Coordinate with external IT service providers and corporate IT teams.
• Ensure adherence to IT policies, standards, and security requirements.
