Job summary

IonQ is seeking an experienced Operations Specialist to bridge real-time production execution with near-term planning at our Bothell, WA site. You will ensure work orders, inventory data, and material availability are accurate, while supporting scheduling and capacity planning for upcoming build cycles.

The role emphasizes hands-on floor execution with a strategic planning perspective, requiring cross-functional collaboration with procurement, quality, and engineering teams to optimize material

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, production control, or supply chain operations.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and hands-on transaction experience.
• Proficient in Excel; Power BI/Tableau a plus.
• Detail-oriented with a data accuracy mindset.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with production, procurement, and quality teams.

Responsibilities

• Track WOs through production status; own WO closure and de-issuance.
• Execute kit pulls and stage material to the line.
• Own kanban replenishment and floor material management.
• Serve as single point of contact for part availability and material questions.
• Track WIP and maintain inventory accuracy on the floor.
• Establish clear escalation paths for material-short WOs and feed signals to Planning.
• Drive SOPs and continuous improvement on floor material flow.
