Job summary

ABB is seeking a Shipping Supervisor to support production targets at the Pinetops, NC facility. You will read and interpret technical diagrams for assembly, operate on the shop floor using light hand tools, and ensure quality testing is completed as part of the production process.

Role requires high school diploma, the ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and adherence to safety guidelines. Onsite work with ABB's Distribution Solutions unit in North Carolina, with focus on safety and process

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Legal authorization to work in the US.
• Knowledge and use of tools – tape measure, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools.
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
• Ladder safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Assemble semi-finished or final products/systems/panels and pack as part of production lines.
• Perform work manually or with light hand tools.
• Conduct regular quality testing within the production process.
• Maintain clean work area and follow standard operating procedures.
