Job Title: Structural Fitter

Resolute Performance Iron is currently seeking experienced structural fitters. Below are the general responsibilities and qualifications for the role.

Shop Fitter/Welder Responsibilities

1. Use MIG welding equipment to manufacture parts and assemblies according to AISC and specific project standards.
2. Supply quality parts and assemblies from jigs and fixtures for welders to complete.
3. Participate in special projects as required.
4. Support Quality Control by incorporating feedback and making necessary adjustments to ensure a high-quality product.
5. Operate equipment such as cranes, forklifts, mag drills, torches, hand tools, and power tools to perform tasks.
6. Arrange parts and communicate important information to welders.
7. Review fabricated assemblies for accuracy against drawings.
8. Attend safety meetings and company briefings.
9. Perform additional duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in fitting and welding.
• Familiarity with jigs, fixtures, hand tools, and power tools.
• Ability to read blueprints and engineered drawings.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs without assistance.
• Must pass a drug test and weld test.
