Job summary

Tusco, Inc. is seeking a Shop Assistant to support Facilities and Shop at Tusco locations in Kentucky. The role involves general labor, maintenance, inventory, deliveries, and assisting with shop operations.

Candidates should be able to lift up to 80 pounds, operate a forklift (preferred), weld (stick, mig, aluminum) preferred, have a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and a proven eye for organization.

Qualifications

• Must be able to complete activities in the warehouse that may require hours of lifting, standing, and carrying.
• Valid driver license and clean driving record required.
• CDL; preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse area.
• Maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds as assigned.
• Maintaining assigned equipment in proper working order.
• Maintaining grounds, lawns, and inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Performing minor repairs to facilities including plumbing and electrical systems.
• Assists with accurate inventory of tools and materials.
• Restocking and organizing material and supplies.
• Accepts, inspects, and records deliveries and pickups per policy.
• Ensure safe delivery and pickup of items for Shop Manager.
