Job Summary

The Fabrication Specialist/Belt Crew performs conveyor belt splicing, vulcanization, troubleshooting, installation, and training. This is a safety-sensitive role requiring adherence to OSHA and MSHA regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles following federal regulations
• Maintain DOT logs and safety inspections
• Repair, splice, vulcanize, and install conveyor belts
• Suggest operational improvements
• Perform general housekeeping and fabrication duties
• Follow safety and operational policies

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with an insurable record
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally
• Ability to work long hours and in various environmental conditions
• Ability to obtain belt splicing certification within 180 days

• Travel may be required
• Pass a hair follicle drug test upon hire
