Job summary

AVANTech, LLC is seeking a Shop Laborer to assist the production manager and welding teams in daily fabrication operations. Responsibilities include material handling, hose assembly, and preparing pipe fittings for welding. You will follow safety protocols and help with loading, unloading, and painting tasks as needed.

The role requires safe working practices, reliable transportation, and basic reading of measurements. A high school diploma and willingness to work overtime are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must read a tape measure and bubble level.
• Ability to operate power and hand tools.
• Forklift experience and machinery familiarity is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety practices and PPE per OSHA and AVANTech procedures.
• Assist with receipt and storage of fabrication materials.
• Build made-to-order hoses per work orders.
• Prep pipe fittings and ends for threading and welding.
• Interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols for piping assemblies.
