Bobcat of Houston Brazos Valley is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to provide quality repair services on Bobcat equipment, including diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance, in a Monday–Friday dayshift.

Responsibilities include performing basic diagnostics, repairing mechanical, hydraulic, diesel and electrical systems, documenting repairs, and participating in ongoing service trainings to support customers and the dealership in Bryan, Texas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 year technical school preferred.
• 1-year fleet or dealership experience in a diesel shop required; 3-5 years preferred.
• Must be a team player with a strong commitment to customer and service team.
• Must have an inventory of hand tools to facilitate repairs.
• Heavy equipment or agricultural experience is a plus.

We are an authorized dealer of new and used Bobcat compact construction equipment including skid steers, track loaders, compact excavators, telehandlers, utility vehicles and more. We provide service both in the field and in our facility.

Bobcat of Houston - Brazos Valley is looking to add a Diesel Mechanic. This role will be responsible for providing quality repair services on Bobcat equipment in order to meet customer needs in a responsive, friendly, educated, and timely manner. This includes performing basic diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned construction equipment. The technician will also be responsible for identifying problems with mechanical, hydraulic, diesel, and electrical systems and executing effective solutions.

Monday - Friday dayshift

Responsibilities

Physical Requirements

• Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate construction equipment.

• Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 50-100 pounds and/or frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 20-50 pounds and/or continuous lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 10-20 pounds

• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, grasp or pull and lift objects. Occasionally required to sit, climb, and balance, kneel, stoop, crouch, and crawl

• Exposed to outside weather conditions, fumes, and loud noise.
