Job summary

Inter IKEA Systems B.V. in Columbus, OH seeks a Shop Design Specialist to craft and refresh store layouts that showcase our products. You will lead visual merchandising efforts, create compelling displays, and apply space planning tools to maximize efficiency.

The role emphasizes meticulous organization, strong Revit/AutoCAD skills, and the ability to implement merchandising strategies during peak periods. Flexible hours from 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday–Friday, with additional support during busy

Qualifications

  • 2 years of retail visual merchandising or similar.
  • Proficient in Revit or AutoCAD, or similar software.
  • Associate's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Implements and innovates upon store layout plan in order to best present the product range.
  • Maintains an organized and visually appealing environment for our customers.
  • Creates and maintains visual displays.
  • Devises, implements and executes effective merchandising strategies.
  • Utilizes space planning tools to ensure simplicity, cost-effectiveness and efficiency in store design.
  • Implement department action plan to grow the business and increase profitability
  • Uses creative approach to solve home furnishing challenges that exist in the local market
  • Remains up-to-date and knowledgeable about current home furnishing and interior design trends
  • Secures an impression of new and inspiring solutions to meet the demands of our customers

Qualifications

BENEFITS ELIGIBLE: Yes

HOURS: 34-40hrs a week

We are looking for a candidate with strong visual composition skills, meticulous organization and knowledge of Revit. The regular hours for the position are from 7:00am-3:30pm M-F, with additional availability needed during peak times.

The pay range for this role is $ 19.96- 28 based on Ikea equivalent years of experience
