IKEA Gruppe in Columbus, OH is seeking a Shop Design Specialist to implement and optimize store layouts, create compelling displays, and drive merchandising strategies to showcase our home furnishings range.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail visual merchandising or similar.
• Proficient in Revit or AutoCAD, or similar software.
• Associate's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements and innovates upon store layout plan to best present the product range.
• Maintains an organized and visually appealing environment for our customers.
• Creates and maintains visual displays.
• Devises, implements and executes effective merchandising strategies.
• Utilizes space planning tools to ensure simplicity, cost-effectiveness and efficiency in store design.
• Implement department action plan to grow the business and increase profitability
• Uses creative approach to solve home furnishing challenges that exist in the local market
• Remains up-to-date and knowledgeable about current home furnishing and interior design trends
• Secures an impression of new and inspiring solutions to meet the demands of our customers'

The pay range for this role is $ 19.96- 28 based on Ikea equivalent years of experience

The starting rate/ salary for this position ranges from 19.96 USD to 28.2 USD and will be based on relevant work experience.
