Job summary

Hall Auto Group seeks an automotive Porter / Shop Cleanup Specialist to support technicians by keeping the shop and customer areas clean and organized. You will move and park vehicles, assist with pickups/deliveries, and maintain safety throughout the workspace.

The role requires reliability, physical stamina, and the ability to work both independently and with a team. Prior automotive experience is a plus, but not required, and the environment is active and hands-on.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Safely move and park customer vehicles on the lot.
• Assist with vehicle pick-up and delivery as needed.
• Keep shop, bays, parking, and customer areas clean and organized.
• Sweep, mop, and remove trash throughout the day.
• Clean spills promptly to maintain a safe workspace.
• Dispose of shop waste properly and safely.
• Assist technicians with basic tasks and errands as required.
• Organize tools, equipment, parts, and supplies.
• Maintain tidy vehicle parking areas.
• Wash or clean vehicles as necessary.
• Assist in loading/unloading parts, tires, and supplies.
• Inspect vehicles for cleanliness before returning to customers.
• Follow shop safety procedures and company policies.
• Perform other general shop duties as assigned.
