French Florist is seeking a motivated Driver & Shop Assistant to join our Los Angeles team. You will deliver floral arrangements using your own vehicle and assist the design staff in the shop. The role is hands-on, fast-paced, and requires physical activity.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

We're looking for a motivated, dependable Driver & Shop Assistant to join our Los Angeles team. This is a true jack-of-all-trades role: you'll deliver flowers to our customers and support our floral design team in the shop. On any given day you might be driving, processing flowers, restocking, or keeping the shop in top shape. The work is hands-on, fast-paced, and physically active. It's also a great way to learn the flower industry from the inside, and a fun job because everyone LOVES getting flowers!

Key Responsibilities

Delivery

• Deliver floral arrangements to customers using your personal vehicle

• Provide a friendly, professional experience at every delivery

Shop Support

• Receive and process floral materials to company standards, including submitting damaged flowers to the Shop Assistant Lead for credit

• Do floral inventory, entering accurate counts in our Admin system

• Keep supplies, glassware, and other inventory fully stocked

• Lift and move flowers, buckets, arrangements, glass, and larger items

• Keep the store, storefront, cooler, bathrooms, and parking lot clean

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance

• Clean driving record (we will review your Motor Vehicle Record)

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and switch between tasks as needs change

• Able to work weekends and holidays

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift, bend, squat, reach, carry, and stand for extended periods during your shift

• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

• Frequent use of hands and arms for lifting, restocking, and carrying

• Comfortable working in cooler environments and handling buckets of water and floral supplies

Schedule:

• Full-time, Wednesdays to Sundays (off on Monday & Tuesday)

• Must be able to work weekends and holidays

• Hours vary from 10am to 8pm

Compensation and Benefits:

• $18.00-$19.00/hour + mileage reimbursement for deliveries
