Job summary

Mesa Natural Gas Solutions LLC is seeking an entry-level Shop Apprentice in Carlsbad, NM. Under supervision you will perform light mechanical repair and routine maintenance on IC engines, natural gas and LP generators. The role offers advancement to a Shop Technician with demonstrated performance.

Responsibilities include unit washing, preventive maintenance, forklift operation, and supporting technicians. A valid driver’s license and willingness to pass background checks are required.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required.
• No prior experience required (entry level).
• Preferred: forklift experience and veteran status.

Responsibilities

• Wash units, trucks and equipment; clean units inside and out.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Move generator units using a forklift.
• Perform forklift inspections monthly/weekly/daily.
• Assist Shop Mechanics with tasks and inspections.
